Meet Kaity Rowe

Servant Leader. Engaged Listener. Creative Thinker. Dedicated Volunteer.

I grew up in Madeira, and I’m proud to now raise my own family with my husband Matt in the community that shaped me. From an early age, I learned the value of civic engagement from my father, a former Madeira City Council member and mayor, and from my mother, whose dedication to our community and schools has been equally inspiring. Their example instilled in me a deep sense of responsibility to give back to the place we call home. I hope to share that same passion and dedication with my own children, Paxton (10) and Finley (7).

For the past six years, I’ve served on the Madeira Parks & Recreation Board, including four years as co-vice chair. That experience has given me firsthand knowledge of how our city government works, the challenges we face, and the exciting opportunities ahead. It has also shown me the importance of listening to residents, weighing options carefully, and making decisions that strengthen our whole community.

Professionally, I’ve spent 14 years as a certified health and wellbeing coach at TriHealth. My career in health promotion and education has equipped me with skills that translate directly to public service: active and empathetic listening, problem-solving, and a commitment to approaching issues with curiosity rather than judgment. I plan to use the dimensions of wellbeing framework as a guide in my work on City Council, recognizing that our city’s success is rooted in community, financial, physical, environmental, and social wellbeing.

As your councilmember, I will prioritize:

  • Investing in our police and fire departments to maintain a safe community

  • Maintaining a balanced budget that protects taxpayer dollars

  • Preserving and growing our green spaces

  • Supporting sustainability and smart growth

  • Strengthening our business district so Madeira continues to thrive

  • Promoting the overall wellbeing of our community

Madeira is at its best when we work together, and I’m eager to serve with dedication, transparency, and heart.
